Question by Angela: If you’re cooking with a slow cooker and want to half the recipe, does the cooking time change?
I have a recipe for pineapple chicken and I want to half the recipe (3 chicken breasts rather than 6, 1 pepper instead of 2, etc). Does that mean I half the cooking time as well, or does it stay the same?

It depends on what size your slow cooker is and what setting you have it on- low, medium, or high. the higher the temperature, and the larger the crock pot, the earlier you are going to want to check on your dish, (I would say up to an hour before the full recipe time) I wouldn’t fret about it though, it’s not easy to mess stuff up with a slowcooker!
