I’m hispanic and we do things so different! If it were us it would look darker, crunchier, juicier in the inside, and we’d keep the seasoning over night.. and yes, you do cover it up for an hour then uncover it for that nice brown look..

Thanks for doing the video. I’m learning to cook for flatmates, not confident, and it’s helpful – nice and easy. Cheers, Bruce Thomson, Palmerston North, New Zealand.

why the big pan just for a little chicken breast p/s you could of wrapped the chicken in aluminum foil and let it cook in its own juices and it would of stayed moist and be tastier as well.

  23. anomalousclouds on October 11, 2011 at 9:18 pm

i know a guy who urinates in the egg wash as well. he lives in a trailer and prepares chicken quite like this. i believe he is addicted to crystal meth, and his chicken has this type of wonderful texture, and golden color. i believe he uses your hollandaise sauce recipe for extra flavor.

  24. mcSHTT on October 11, 2011 at 9:49 pm

  25. HeartUhTackJack on October 11, 2011 at 10:19 pm

  26. mostentertainment on October 11, 2011 at 10:49 pm

egg then to the fryer? are you fuckin kidding me? shoot this guy.

  27. FOUNDUP on October 11, 2011 at 10:56 pm

soak the chicken in buttermilk first, then mix flour, breadcrumbs, parmesean cheese, dip soaked chicken in dry mix, then fry baby…excellent..

  28. endgiver on October 11, 2011 at 11:44 pm

yeah, canola oil works. You jsut want somethign with high stability, if low temperatures cause it to smoke and burn then what you end up eating is ridiculously bad for you, canola oil is high stability.

  29. selfsurf on October 12, 2011 at 12:09 am

    you look like dennis reynolds

  30. miniixio on October 12, 2011 at 12:15 am

  31. FoolishInTheEnd on October 12, 2011 at 12:48 am

what kind of flour do you use for the fried chicken and will canola oil also be a good fryer?

  32. antonelli5000 on October 12, 2011 at 12:50 am

I didn’t saw the chicken being cook , I guess I just have to take your word for it. like I have choice.

  33. pwbff on October 12, 2011 at 12:59 am

boy, the standards for being considered an expert have really dropped. He might as well have said ‘go down to KFC and pick up a bucket of extra crispy’

  34. obigalish on October 12, 2011 at 1:17 am

    i love that reply rofl.

  35. almondtealeaf2 on October 12, 2011 at 1:57 am

I defrost and rinse the chicken and then I beat two eggs to a large bowland roll the chicken in the beaten egg and then I add spices mostly season all and pepper and garlic powder and I let the chicken soak in the egg and spices until I’m ready to fry it. Before I fry the chicken I season the flour with the exact spices I used to marinade the chicken. I think you’re supposed to fry chicken for 12 minutes or longer depending on the size of the piece of chicken.

  36. GomerDose on October 12, 2011 at 1:57 am

LOL he forgot to dip it in bleach first

  37. sameenrs on October 12, 2011 at 2:11 am

    stupid moron guy

  38. ladieschoice02 on October 12, 2011 at 2:34 am

    diffrent way huh?!

  39. rawimpact on October 12, 2011 at 2:55 am

This guy is a complete moron. For those that really want fried chicken, dip your chicken in the egg wash first, then dip it in the flour. then redip in the egg wash and throw it back in the flour the second time. Then fry at 450 degrees. This will be the crispiest chicken you’ve had. Also, add some salt and pepper to your flour mixture before you dip the chicken in it.

  40. rawimpact on October 12, 2011 at 3:42 am

i agree, expert village is fucking horrible.

  41. michaba03m on October 12, 2011 at 3:44 am

    this guy is soo stupid!!!
    1) you dip the chicken in the egg first then the flour, otherwise it completely defeats the object!
    2) “be careful because…” because what?
    3) “it has a wonderful golden texture”. wait, golden texture???!!
    4) Cook chicken for 4/5 mins, try it if you really want but it might be just a LITTLE bit raw ;)

  42. JerseyMadeMe on October 12, 2011 at 4:34 am

4 to 5 mins to cook CHICKEN? you will die.

  43. mrnuffniceness on October 12, 2011 at 4:39 am
