@roopa8683 : Sorry – somehow missed your Q. Fermenting at 350 degrees in an oven, you have killed all chances of the batter rising. the oven was too hot.
When we say pre-heated oven for fermenting, it just needs to go up to 100-150 degrees and then turned off and THEN put the batter in the oven – 350 is too much.
Sorry, it was such a wasted effort – but please try again…

by mistake i added some oats and potatoes i had ground up for a face pack to the dosa batter and i made the most amazing dosa. maybe it doesnt need that much
fermenting as quick oats may not have as much body as rice.also the potaoes gave it a really nice flavour. for the quantity you made may be one big potatoe and maybe some green leaves as you are trying to make it healthy.
This is awesome. Which cuisinart blender you are using? I have been looking for a good blender for grinding dosa stuff and would like to get your recommendattion. Thank you Hetal and Anuja.
Are you an oatmeal lover? Recently I started adding strawberries to my breakfast oatmeal and thought the combination would make a pretty good muffin too. My mother has always taken delight at the patches of mint that thrive along the edges of her house. "It keeps away the ants!" she insists. I have no idea if this actually works, but having her advice firmly imprinted into the core of my being, I too cultivate patches of mint here and there. Which means, that right about now, mid to late spring, we […]

Yes, you could use coconut oil. The flavor will be noticeably different.
Can I use coconut oil to drizzle on top of the dosa
I was hesitant abt Oats Dosa until I saw this post. They came out great for me. I also added some Poha for added softness. Thumbs up for this recipe.
