@anshumee1 : You can blanch it but it is ok to use it directly – saving you a step.

  2. anshumee1 on December 14, 2011 at 11:01 am

Are you using fresh spinach (blanched one) or the frozen one. If we are using the fresh spinach, do we need to blanch it or we can directly go ahead and puree it?

hii you can also try spinach poori..it is made of the spinach flour but it is cooked in oil in a pan…it is much more tasty…also add a bit of gram flour to it..it will improve the taste…

Hej girls, I made your spinach paratha and it was wonderful. So simple and so tasty.
I Love Indian (vegetarian) food. Thanks:)

  18. ShowMeTheCurry on December 14, 2011 at 6:03 pm

    @puneetraina
We have not tried the grinding method for mooli. Spinach tends to grind very well with the yogurt but we’re not sure about radish.

  19. puneetraina on December 14, 2011 at 6:47 pm

can we use the same method for mooli(raddish) ka paratha? I presume we will not mix the curd as we did in this reciepe..

  20. ShowMeTheCurry on December 14, 2011 at 7:01 pm

@19cybertron: Yes you can. We suggest
you cut the spinach really fine.
You have to just wash the spinach – no
need to soak it in the water.

  21. 19cybertron on December 14, 2011 at 7:21 pm

Can I use raw spinach instead of frozen spinach? If so do I have to soak it in water and use?

  22. greatdancegreat on December 14, 2011 at 7:51 pm

Palak paratha can be be bitter if quantity is added more than mentioned in the video….. Thanks for posting the video…. I make this healthy paratha very often!

  23. ShowMeTheCurry on December 14, 2011 at 8:43 pm

No, you don’t have to cook the spinach before grinding. Not sure why your’s was bitter.

  24. nyambati on December 14, 2011 at 9:42 pm
